Meet The Team
Rob started in the industry in 1988 in Corner Brook, NL as an R&R tech for 3 years. He moved to Vancouver in 1994 to further his career and begin rebuilding transmissions. That is where he met his wife and business partner Patti in 1997. Rob dreamed of owning his own shop one day and in November 2006 that came true. Within 30 days Rob & Patti were proud owners of the Pro-Tech Transmissions repair shop.
Rob enjoys riding his Harley, spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.
Patti has worked for her family businesses since she was 10. She has worked many customer service jobs and knows what customer service is and should be. She was an administrator for law firms for several years prior to owning the shop. Patti is our administrator and bookkeeper, and back up for Rob.
Her personal interests are sky watching and nature, especially animals and our youth of today. She enjoys her pets, gardening, and camping.
Chico is a licensed mechanic and has specialized in transmissions for over 15 years, prior to that he was working as a general mechanic. He’s also a journeyman! A true ‘jack of all trades’.
Chico is happily married with two children. He enjoys camping and quadding. Chico is also an avid hunter.
